Decibel science is an organism that was founded in 2001 to answer the needs of thousands of little curious scientific minds from ages 5 to 12.

Its founder Marie-Josée Marion, a specialized educator, graphic artist and self-taught scientist, wanted to create, first and foremost, through teaching and manipulation, high quality workshops for the elementary child; a space-time encompassing both the magic of curiosity, knowledge and experience to enable the participant to demystify the world around them and understand it according to his own imaginative perception.

Our main goal is to make science accessible and fun for children.

 

By means of a creative and pedagogical approach and a large range of experiments and scientific tools, as specialized communicators we guide the future scientist in you on an incredible journey of discoveries.

 

We are constantly creating new themes and adapting new experiments to challenge curious scientific minds with relevant and contagious demonstrations followed by 100 % hands-on experiments!

Our workshops are offered as mini labs where the participant experiments in teams of 2 or 3. They are also offered in different formats to answer all needs; extracurricular and in class activities, science days, children birthdays and specialized camps.
